Plenty to work on! I’ve been a teacher for 27 years and two terms and this much I know….. What do you mean that’s been done?! 27 years though! Scary number. I’m on a path to being a life-long teacher, never having had any other kind of job. Obviously it’s a bit different being a Headteacher but I’ve always been a teacher too – next year I’m taking on a GCSE Maths class. I can’t wait. There are lots of reasons to love teaching but one that has sustained me is that constant challenge to teach better. My entire experience of teaching has been that my lessons never seem to go to plan; it’s never quite right.
